Vision Statement:
To create a ministry that provides women with a relationship that encourages spiritual
growth, fellowship and a desire to serve others through outreach. The Mentoring
Ministry's goal is to develop each woman that enters this ministry to have a daily
walk with the Lord through prayer and daily Bible study.
How to get involved:
Attend an Orientation Coffee, Attend Kickoff Night, and Commit to the Mentoring
Covenant & Code of Ethics.

The Covenant
- We will make a six–month commitment to the mentoring relationship.
- We will contact each other once a week and meet a minimum of twice a month.
- We will pray for each other and ask the Lord to deepen our bond of friendship.
- We will do things together like work on spiritual disciplines, learn a new skill, attend church functions (retreats, seminars, or women's activities).
- We will take walks together, go out for a meal or coffee together, and spend time in each others' homes.
- We will make an effort to keep our relationship ongoing, consistent, and fun.
- We will always ask God to be a part of our relationship and to bless it.
- We will take our relationship seriously and make time for it in our schedules.
- We will keep our sharing confidential "just between the two of us" unless we agree it is OKAY to share with someone else.
- We will talk only about ourselves.
- We are committed.
Code of Ethics
If I am matched into a one–on–one relationship and participate in the
mentoring ministry, I understand and agree to abide by the following courtesies.
I realize that I am an imperfect creation, and I cannot honor these experiences
by myself. Therefore, I will continuously seek the Lord's help through prayer and
petition. With His assurance and strength
I WILL return phone calls from my mentor and mentee and any woman who calls me from
the mentoring ministry – remembering that they are:
- taking time out of their schedule to call and encourage me,
- tell me they are praying for me, invite me to a function in my honor, or
- just let me know they care as does the entire ministry team.
I WILL call back my Prayer Warrior, who is on her knees praying specifically for
me during my six–month covenant relationship.
I WILL reply in a timely manner to every notice I receive that asks for an RSVP,
whether or not I can attend.
I WILL make it a priority to attend the Half–time Refresher.
I WILL consider it the highest honor to be invited to the Six–Month Potluck
Celebration at the end of my formal mentoring covenant, and will attend this festive
occasion planned just for me.
I WILL call my Prayer Warrior, or someone else on the Administrative Team if I am
having any problems or have questions about my mentoring relationship. Giving up
on the relationship will never be an option.
I WILL pray and also ask others to pray for me that I can continue to learn His
ways and be the Christian woman that would please the Lord. I will strive to be
a woman who honors her commitments, thinks of others before herself, and loves her
neighbor as herself.
Unveiled: A Ministry for the Modern Woman
Are you sick and tired of trying to act perfect in the eyes of the World? If so, join us!
We are single, married, mothers, women with no kids, engaged, and divorced.
Get ready to drop the act! Bring on the flaws!
The one thing we all have in common is not one of us is perfect.
Come grow with women who want to strive to be perfect in the eyes of the Lord…Not the eyes of the World!
